Driven by compassion and a deep love for animals, Kristina the Founder of Cityside Sitters turned personal hardship into purpose. After losing her mother to cancer in 2020, she found comfort and healing in the presence of loved ones including the unwavering companionship of pets. including her own island pup named Saint.

What began as a job at an Emergency Pet Hospital in the city soon evolved into a true passion for caring for animals and supporting their families. That passion ultimately led her to take a leap of faith and create Cityside Sitters—a company rooted in empathy, trust, and genuine care.

Today, she is proud to provide reliable, heartfelt pet care services, helping others feel the same comfort and connection that once helped her through life’s most difficult moments. Along with a few trusted members of her team.

Specialize in drop-in visits, with a strong focus on feline care. I bring over a decade of hands-on experience, having worked with animals professionally since 2011, and nearly 15 years in veterinary medicine as a credentialed veterinary nurse. My background includes caring for a wide range of animals from cats and dogs to reptiles and small pets. I’m highly experienced in medication administration across all routes and am also happy to guide pet owners through proper techniques when needed.

Lifelong animal lover with hands on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I work at as a patient coordinator at a pet hospital, where I’ve developed strong skills in animal care, behavior, and health awareness. I specialize in pet sitting and dog walking, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, and loved while you’re away. As a proud owner of three cats, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets because they’re family!
